Mrs. Laura Janette Myers, wife of Mr. I B. Myers, died at her home in Dayton Wednesday afternoon at 4 o clock, after an illness of ten days. Her condition was not regarded as serious until Tuesday, when her husband, who was in Springfield, Ohio, received a telegram telling him to come to his wife's bedside at once. He arrived here on the afternoon B. & O. train Wednesday and reached home only a few minutes before she passed away.

Mrs. Myers was a daughter of the late Henry Frank, of Singers Glen, and was born near that place in October, 1858, at the time of her death being in her 46th year.

In 1880 she married Mr. Myers and for a number of years resided near Edom, but they have made their home at Dayton since 1895.

Deceased is survived by her husband and six children—Misses Katie, Edna, Ora, Mary, and Messrs. Oscar and Wilson Myers. Oscar is a member of the United States Marine Corps and has recently returned to San Francisco with his command after several years' service in the Philippines and with the Asiatic squadron of the U. S, Navy. His term of enlistment will expire the 24th of this month, but at the time of his mother's death, he is thought to have been on his way home on furlough.

The funeral services will be held this morning at 11 o'clock at the Methodist church in Dayton.

Mrs. Myers was a kind woman and a willing church worker, and her death has cast a gloom over a large circle of friends.
