Rutherfordton, NC - Rev. Willis Everett Smith died on Tuesday, June 24, 1980, following a lengthy illness. Member of the Second Baptist Church and husband of Sue Cannon Smith. Survivors included: four sons; three daughters; two sisters, Mrs. Mamie Bell and Mrs. Lexie Kelly, both of Anderson, SC; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
