Loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Ruth Bernice Waterfall Peterson, age 80, passed away January 26, 1992, in a local hospital, peacefully after a valiant battle.
Born July 29, 1911, to Charles and Susie Nolan Waterfall, in Salt Lake City. Married William DeMoin Peterson, July 12, 1934; later solemnized in Salt Lake LDS Temple. Served in Relief Society as work director for 19 years. She will fondly be remembered for her gatherings. She will always live in our memory and hearts.
Survived by husband, William D. and children, of Kearns, son, William G., daughter, Joan S., grandson, Brian and wife, Laura Markovich, Salt Lake, many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, brother, Joseph Nolan Waterfall, sister, Hazel Hunt.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 2 p.m. at the Kearns 16th Ward, 4660 West 5015 South. Friends may call Tuesday, 6 to 8 p.m. at McDougal Golden Rule Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Wednesday at the church, 1 to 1:40 p.m. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
