Gillespie, S. Orville “Jake”, age 71, died Wednesday, born July 29, 1912 in Jones OK, had lived in the vicinity all his life. Retired from County Treasurer’s Office in 1974. Longtime member of First Christian Church of Jones, past Master and Secretary Treasurer Jones Masonic Lodge and KCCH Consistory of Guthrie, past Grand Master Jones IOOF. Survived by wife, Anna; son, O. Duane, daughter-in-law, Janice, 1 grandson, Michael, all of Jones; 2 sisters, Wanda Evans, OKC and Mae Truelove, Del City; several nieces and nephews. Services 2pm Friday, First Christian Church, Jones. Burial in IOOF Cemetery. Family suggests in lieu of flowers, donations to Perpetual Care Fund, Jones IOOF Lodge, or Jones First Christian Church Memorial fund. “Jake was greatly loved and will be missed by his many friends and loved ones.”
