Actor. He was an actor as well as a stuntman, Trick Rider, Roper, and Entertainer. By the age of four, he had begun roping at rodeos. He eventually worked and toured with the Clyde Beatty Circus, Colonel Jim Eskew Wild West Show, Tom Mix Circus and Wild West Show, The Gene Autry Flying "A" Circus, Roy Rogers Circus, Kelly-Miller Circus and others. He did stunt work in Hollywood for Tyrone Power in "The Mark of Zorro"(1940), Bob Steel in "Trigger Law" (1944) and Gene Kelly in "Three Musketeers" (1948). He worked as Bob Steel's stunt double for fifteen years. While in Hollywood he used his talents in over 300 films including "Dead Pool" (1988), "Pink Cadillac" (1989), and "Gunfighter's Moon" (1995). He performed falling and horse stunts in "Gunsmoke," "Bonanza," and "Rawhide" and other western movies and TV shows. He continued appearing across America in rodeos, live shows and in wild west shows featuring Roy Rogers, Gene Autry, Leo Carrillo, Hoot Gibson, and Wild Bill Elliott. He received the title of World Champion Trick Rider in 1950 and 1961, World Champion Trick Roper in 1971, and was inducted in Hollywood Stuntmen's Hall of Fame.
