She was married to Andrew J. Garver in 1879 in Hill County, Texas and to this union were born three children, Edward who died at the age of three: T.H. and Anderson W. both of Rankin, Oklahoma.
When 20 years of age Mrs. Garver accepted Christ as her Saviour and joined the Christian Church in Hill County, Texas.
In 1892 Mr. and Mrs. Garver moved from Texas to Washita County, Oklahoma where they resided until 1912 when they moved to Rankin, where they continued to live until Mr. Garver died December 20, 1920.
Mrs. Garver then made her home with her son Harry where she has continued to reside having received loving, tender care until the peaceful closing of a long and useful life.
Besides the two sons mentioned there are 8 grandchildren and one great-grand child, together with two sisters, Mrs. Mary Adkins of Foss, Okla., and Mrs. Ollie Payne of Hamilton County, Texas, Mrs. Adkins was at the bedside of her sister during her last hours.
The burial took place at the Rankin (White Rose0 cemetery, Reydon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma Wednesday 2:30 p.m. November 28, 1928, Rev. S. French Lancaster, officiaating.
