Staff Sergeant David Biehl was born in Kennewick, Washington, on November 18, 1983, where he spent the early part of his childhood.

At the age of 17 between his junior and senior year of high school he enlisted in the Army. From a very young age David had a passion for serving his country to defend the freedom of all of us here at home. He served two tours to Iraq and was particularly proud to serve with the 3rd Infantry Division. He received various awards for being an exemplary soldier. Later he became an Army Recruiter and was NCO of the Year, Recruiter of the Year and was also awarded the Army Recruiter Ring. Only a small percentage of recruiters are able to achieve this award.

David was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish. He had quite the array of duck calls. He was also a Seattle Mariners fan.

David loved his family, friends, and his Band of Brothers. He was a true warrior and has fought the good fight. He will be greatly missed.
