MOLINE--Services for Opal E. Marcus, 87, of 4009 12th St., will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline.
Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. today at Wendt Funeral Home, Moline.
Mrs. Marcus died Monday at Illini Hospital, Silvis, Ill.
She had been a home care worker at Oak Glen Home, Coal Valley, Ill., and was a cook at the former Plantation night club and Arsenal Country Club.
Opal Minnerly married Bernard Marcus in 1927 in St. Patrick, Mo. He died in 1962.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Moline.
Memorials may be made to Rose House, 7301 34th Ave., Moline.
Survivors include her daughters, Mary Funk, Germantown, Ohio; and Aileen Marcus, Moline; sons, Loyal, Gilbert, Ariz.; Bernard R., Decatur City, Iowa; Bobbie L., Colona, Ill.; Joseph G., Loves Park, Ga.; and Michael D., Springfield, Ohio; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Twilla Honker, Canton, Mo.
