dward G. Dover, 91 of Waldron, passed away on February 22, 2007 at Waldron Health Care in Waldron. He was born on December 16, 1915 in Shelbyville, Indiana and was the son of Arnold and Nancy Jane (Chesney) Dover.
He was a machinist tool and dye maker for the Naval
Avionics. He was a member of the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Adams.
He served in the Army as a corporal during WW II. He was married to Dora (Kinzel) Dover in September 3, 1943 and she preceded him in death on June 20, 1996. He is survived by one son, Keith (Dee) Dover of Greensburg; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren and six step-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife; two sons,
Michael G. Dover and Stephen K. Dover.
Visitation will be from 2 - 5 p.m. on Sunday, February 25 at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, February 26 at the funeral home with Dr. Robb Barlow, Pastor Cliff Bunch and Rev. David Crowley officiating.
Interment will be held in the Garland Brook Cemetery in
Columbus, Indiana. Memorials may be made to the Shelby County Hospice or the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.
