Joe was born Nov. 24, 1920, in Two Rivers, son of the late Robert & Regina Richard Jebavy. He attended St. Luke's grade school, and Two Rivers Washington High School, graduating with the class of 1939. He is a United States Army veteran, who served his country during WWII. On Jan. 26, 1946 he married Gertrude Menges at St. Luke Catholic Church,
Two Rivers. Joe was employed at Hamilton Industries for many years, retiring in 1986. After retirement, Joe & Gertie enjoyed spending the winter months at their residence in Winter Haven, FL, where he enjoyed playing cards, golfing, and volunteering many hours of community service. He was also a member of the American Legion of Winter Haven, FL.
Locally, Joe was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Parish, where he served as an usher, and lector. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council # 1957, VFW Post # 1248, and Hamilton's Goodfellowship Club. He volunteered countless hours at the Washington House, the Hamilton Wood Type & Printing Museum, and Point Beach State Park. Joe enjoyed bowling, stamp collecting, watching T.V.. and was an avid Packer fan.

He was preceded in death by a son; Michael Jebavy, and one sister; Annabelle VanderBloomen.
Relatives & friends may call at the Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, Two Rivers from 5 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday evening, and after 9 am. on Wednesday until leaving for the church at 9:45 a.m. There will be a parish wake service held at 8 o'clock Tuesday evening to conclude the visitation, led
