MINNIS JACKSON "JACK" HONEYCUTT, age 73 of 607 Locust Hill, Englewood, Ohio died Friday, August 30, 1996 at Grandview Hospital in Dayton. Born on February 20, 1923 in Bristol, Tenn. he was the son of Payne Alexander & Beulah May (Ellenburg) Honeycutt. He was a U.S. Army W.W. II veteran; 50 year member of Southwest Ohio D.C. of Carpenters Local 104 and retired in the mid 1970's after 20 years of service with the Dayton Board of Education - Maintenance Department.

Preceded in death by his parents; Sister: Jo Ella Norris and Brothers: Don, Clyde, Glenn, Howard, Raymond, and James "Luke" Honeycutt.

Survivors: Son & Daughter-In-Law: R. J. "Jack" & Nancy J. Honeycutt of Englewood; Daughters & Sons-In-Law: Glenndola & Andy Anderson of Tipp City, Oh.; Peggy & Vernon Simmons of Riverside, Oh.; and Barbara & David Spurling of Northridge, Oh.; Brother: Harold "Ken" Honeycutt of Dayton; Sisters: Frances Vermillion of Dayton, Oh.; Lucille Perrot, Sydney Edger, Irene Reid and Mary Jensen all of Illinois. 13 Grandchildren; 8 Great Grandchildren; Numerous Nieces & Nephews.

Funeral service Friday, September 6, 1996 - 11:00 A.M. at Kindred-Barnes Funeral Home (400 Union Blvd) Englewood, Ohio with Rev. Ron Hajarian officiating. Family will receive friends on Thursday from 5 to 8 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment will be held in Dayton National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Randolph Township Fire & Rescue.
