Elmira Frances Criger was the daughter of Elmer Floyd Criger and Amy R. Stephenson Criger. Little is known about her life, but it was said that she was handicapped. Her sister May and her parents all preceded her in death and a public guardian was appointed for her - the Albert Engel & Co. She never married, perhaps because of her handicap. She developed cancer in later life and passed away in the Oak Manor Convalescent Hospital. She is buried in the Roselawn Cemetery in Livermore, Alameda, California, as was her mother Amy.
