Randy was a 1962 graduate of Newport Harbor High School, Newport Beach, California, where he was a very active participant in football for four years and basketball for three. He served on the Student Court and was a member of the Key Club. Randy was also active in the NHHS sailing club and was considered one of the top three players on the varsity tennis team. In 1965 Randy married his lovely high school sweetheart, but sadly he passed away at the young age of thirty. He was a popular person at NHHS, well liked, very involved, a good student, and no doubt he is missed by many who called him "friend".
