George Edward Bunch, Jr. 90, of 502 N. Haughton Street, died Friday November 11, 2011 at Martin General Hospital. He was born in Williamston on May 18 1921 to the late Elizabeth Beech and George E. Bunch, Sr. Mr. Bunch was a member of First United Methodist Church and a retired lineman 1st Class with Vepco. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Mr. Bunch was a World War II Navy Veteran and charter member of the Williamston National Guard.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, November 14, 2011 at Walker Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30pm to 2:00PM prior to the service on Monday.
