Dustin Rodney Fields, 16, of Charleston died Oct. 25, 2003.

Dustin was born Jan. 20, 1987, in Charleston, a son of Rodney Fields and Felicia Fields of Charleston. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Carl and Margaret Fields; and an uncle, Randy Lee Fields.

He was a student at Sissonville High School, a member of the U.S. Marine Corps JROTC and attended Union Valley Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandparents, Sonny and Madeline Anderson of Charleston; three brothers, Joshua Dale, Nathan Dale and Randy Lee Fields, all at home; seven aunts and seven uncles; several cousins; and a host of friends.

Service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, at Long & Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville, with the Rev. Greg Tucker officiating. Burial will follow in Guthrie Cemetery, Northfield Road, Charleston.

Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
