The daughter of Rufus and Julia Wright Sapp, Mrs. Mann was born and spent her early life in Marion County. Following marriage she and Mr. Mann lived for many years in this county, where Mr. Mann was engaged in farming and livestock raising. She was a woman of many Christian virtues, known and loved by a large circle of friends here and elsewhere, a fact emphasized by the large crowd attending the funeral and burial service.
Because of the illness of Mr. Mann, who was unable to attend a church service, funeral services , conducted by the Rev. Piercy, were held at the residence at 1:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon, the body being brought to this city for interment on Cemetery Hill.
