William Pearl Tucker married Cora Belle Frager on Dec. 24,1906 in Madison,South Dakota,and spent their married life farming near Akron,Iowa until they retired to Akron in 1944.
They were blessed with eight children;a son Everett whom died at seven years of age; Grace whom married William Blankenburg and their children,Marian Schilling,Donna Rolfes and James Blankenburg; Emery who married Jeaan Coleman and their children,Thomas Tucker and Sandra Yu;Ruby who married Armand Brown and their children,Larry Brown and Marcene Heeren;Dorothy married Arden Brown and their children,Carol Forslund,Robert and Richard Brown;Robert married Harriet Moore and their children,Todd Tucker and JoLyn Gordon;Ellia married Geneva Jager and their children,Beverly Graham,Gary Tucker,Cynthia Williams and Roger Tucker;Virginia married Hugh Swift and their son, Scott Swift.
Mr. & Mrs.Tucker were honored Belle and Beau of the Akron's bicentennial celebration in June 1976. Dec. of that year they celebrated their 70th Anniversity with family.
