Dies at Home Here;
Rites on Monday
Mrs. Lena Nippert Foster,77.
prominent Bradford resident for
the past 70 years, died at, her
home, 19 Pike St. at 7:40 o'clock
Friday evening. She had been in ill
health for the past three months
Her condition became serious a
week ago.
Born April 12, 1872, In Petroleum
Center, Pa., Mrs. Foster was the
daughter of the late Mr and Mrs.
Fred Nippert. She came to Bradford
with her parents more than
70 years ago.
Mrs. Fester attended schools in
Custer City, Pa. She was married
to Charles E. Foster June 5, 1894.
Her husband died in July, 1931.
Mrs. Foster was a member of "the
Hill Memorial EOB Church.
She is survived by two sons, Dewey
E. Foster of Sheboygan, ,Wis.,
and Dwight C. Foster, of Bradford;
two grandchildren, Mrs Collis P.
Chandler Jr. Shreveporf, La., and
Robert R.Foster Sheboygan/Wis.;
one granddaughter, Mary Louise
Chandler: one sister, Mrs. W. J.
Morris, Begolia, Pa., and one brother,
George Nippert/Bradford.
The body was removed to the
Koch-Chatley Memorial where
friends are invited to call between
the hours of 2 and 5 p. m. and 7
and 9 p. m. Funeral services will
be held in the Chapel Monday afternoon
at 1:30 o'clock, the Rev.
C. Grorer, pastor of the Hill Memorial
ETJB Church officating
Burial will be made in Oak Hill
Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction
