Visitation for Hugo Russell Baer, 84, will be today from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at English Funeral Chapel in Post Falls. Service will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral chapel. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Post Falls. Mr. Baer, who was born in Fruitland, Idaho, died Monday. He lived in California and worked as a millwright in the cabinet industry. Mr. Baer moved to the Post Falls area 22 years ago from California.
He was a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America.
Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Janie; two sons, Douglas Baer of Arizona, and Randy Baer of Pennsylvania; two stepsons, Charles Gay and David Long, both of California; a stepdaughter, Anne Drost of Pennsylvania; two brothers, Bill Baer of Post Falls and Henry Baer of Rathdrum, Idaho; a stepbrother, Ed Borgens of Coeur d'Alene; a sister, Hellen Waller of Boise; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren
