MARIE GREGOIRE BLADES
A homemaker and a resident of Baton Rouge, she died at 6:21 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2000, at The Care Center of Baton Rouge. She was 92 and a native of Donaldsonville. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Judith B. and Darrell Guy of Denham Springs, and Glenda and Clinton Robert of Prairieville; a son, David Blades of Florida; three grandchildren, Tracy Dee Guy, Kevin J. Guy and Cheri R. Taylor; and three great-grandchildren, Corey Michael Guy, Brandon Lambert and Gabrielle Marie Taylor. Preceded in death by her husband, Abraham Elijah Blades ; parents, Pierre and Elizabeth Gregoire; two brothers, Adam and Anthony Gregoire; three sisters, Eva Doiron, Alma Sanchez and Thelma Richard; and a great-grandson, Anthony Thomas Guy. She was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church and Altar Society and a former member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, where she was a member of the adult choir, Mother's Club and St. Margaret's Daughters. She was past president of the Ladies Auxiliary of Disabled American Veterans.
