Funeral services for Mrs. Lillian B. Hunt, 79, of 304 Candlewick Rd., who died Friday, will be at 9. a.m. tomorrow in St. John's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Thomas Greener, officiating. The body will be taken
to Luana for burial. A scripture service is planned at 7 p.m. today in the O'Keefe and Towne Funeral Home. Mrs. Hunt, daughter of Thomas and Maryella Dawes Barton, was born Dec. 27, 1892, in Wisconsin, and was married April 17, 1920, at Minneapolis to Horace D. Hunt, Sr. She taught near South Haven, Minn., in 1910 and in 1919 was employed by the Warner Hardware store there. On moving here in 1925, she operated the Circular Letter Shop, a multigraphing and mailing concern, and was a public stenographer from 1927 to 1935. She additionally was active in politics and was a member of the National Union for Social Justice and the Republican party, was a member of St. John's Catholic church 46 years. Surviving are two sons, MSgt. (Army ret.) Horace D. Hunt, Jr., of 304 Candlewick Rd., and M. Sgt. Francis B., (Air Force ret.) of Ponca City, Okla., and a daughter, Mrs. Marion L., Warner of Maple Park, Ill. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; two brothers, LeRoy Barton of Greensboro, N.C., and Edward of 117 Lewis St., and two sisters, Mrs. Thelma Leopard of Littleton, Colo., and Mrs. Marcella Nicol of 512 Cedar Bend.
