Obit: Lester G. Marsh 52 died Oct. 3rd, 1977 at his residence on Favor St. following a brief illness. He was born in Eastport Nov. 2nd, 1924.The son of Lester E. & Genevieve Wilson Marsh. He attended Eastport schools and served in the US Navy during WWII. He was employed for several years by the Dept. of Agriculture, later as a police officer in the Eastport Police Dept. He had also been employed in local fish processing plant at the time of his death he was employed by the Mearl Corp. in Eastport. He was a member of Anchor Lodge Knights of Pythias. He survived by his wife, Marion R. Marsh, Eastport. One son, Carl W. Marsh, two daughters, Linda L. Hurt and Gwendolyn G. Gray, four gchilddren, several neices and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 pm at the Flagg Funeral Home with the Rev. Roland Chaffey officiating. Interment will be in Bayside Cemetery.
