Anne Bruning, age 89, of Centerville, OH, formerly of Dix Hills, NY and Henderson, NV, passed away Sunday, October 21, 2007 at Hospice of Dayton following a brief illness. She was born September 16, 1918 in Ridgewood, NY to the late Jean Baptiste Laurey and Anastasien Frances Nickel Laurey. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years, Fred Bruning, one brother John Laurey and one sister, Catherine Court. She is survived by one son. Bill Bruning (Susanna) of Summertown, TN, one daughter, Ann Bruning (James Stark) of Centerville, OH, seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and was happily awaiting the birth of her eighth great-grandchild in the spring. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Thursday, October 25, 2007, at the Church of the Incarnation, 7415 Far Hills Ave., Centerville, OH. Fr. Peter Helmlinger officiating. Burial will be Saturday, October 27, 2007, in All Faiths Cemetery in Ridgewood, NY. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH in the name of Anne Bruning or the charity of your choice.
