J. H. Baxter died at his home in Paonia, Colorado Wednesday night. The remains will be brought to Del Norte for burial. He is survived by his son, J. Harry Baxter, Jr., and his wife, Lizzie Baxter. Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church with Rev. Carson officiating. Services at the grave were conducted by the Masons, an organization of which the deceased was a member.
