JAKE BATH

Jake Bath, 82, of Loveland, died Feb. 1, 1997, at McKee Medical Center.

He was born Feb. 15, 1914, in Loveland to Jacob and Mary Stroh Bath.

He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. On Dec. 3, 1949, he married Lenora Weickum in Denver.

He was a supervisor at Great Western Sugar Co. in Loveland, working campaigns for more than 20 years. During the summer months, he worked for the city of Loveland at Loveland Burial Park.

A Loveland resident all of his life, he enjoyed fishing and yard work.

He is survived by his wife, Lenora Bath of Loveland; five brothers John Bath and wife Wilma, Daniel Bath and wife Bessie, and Henry Bath, all of Loveland, Sam Bath of Thornton and Manuel Bath and wife Rose of Evans; two sisters, Hannah Zimmerman and husband Victor, and Rachel DeLaughter and husband Acy, all of Loveland; many nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.

The family has requested no viewing.

Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday at Loveland Burial Park, with the Rev. Howard Hines officiating. Burial will be in Loveland Burial Park.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Jake Bath memorial Fund in care of the Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home.
