Warner, Dennis George (Denny) age 56 of Davison, beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother passed away Nov. 2, 2011, at his residence after a brave and courageous battle with cancer. Funeral service will be held 11 am Monday, Nov. 7, 2011 at The New Dawn Chapel, 1569 S. Elba Rd., Lapeer, MI. Family will receive visitors from 11-8 pm Sunday at the chapel and from 10 am until time of service Monday. Burial to follow at Meadowview Memorial Gardens. Rev. Don McCombs officiating.

He retired from General Motors after 23 years. He leaves behind to cherish his memory loving wife Theresa, who cared for him through his fight and loved him very much, son Nick (Misty) Locke, grandchildren Jillian and Kaitlynn Locke, brothers Hazen (Peg) Warner, Tim (Fran) Warner, beloved sister Pat Binder, father and mother-in-law John (Martha) Joiner of Douglas, AL, brothers-in-law Roy Joiner of Douglas, AL, John Joiner of Irvine, KY, sisters-in-law Mary-Elizabeth Joiner, Robin (Danny) Smith of Albertville, AL, Linda (James) Boyd, and Lisa Joiner of Boaz, AL, and many nieces and nephews. Many thanks go out to special people: National Cancer Institute, Dr. Eilender and especially his home care nurse Max Stutzman, support from everyone at Maddens Lounge, Davison House, Sherry Sanford and special friends Phil and Patti Rowe, and Buddy Wright from Sand Lake, MI. Denny was preceded in death by parents Hazen and Joy Warner.
