Pauline A. "Polly" (Topper) Adamik, of Aspers, departed this life, November 15, 2011, in Baltimore, MD. She was the wife of John Adamik for 59 years.

Born July 27, 1927, in Mount Pleasant Township, she was the daughter of the late Rossville and Theresa (Gebhart) Topper.

Polly was a 1945 Delone High School graduate and was executive director of Gettysburg Travel Council from '60-'75.

She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Gettysburg; former secretary of Adams County Democratic party; an officer in PA Association TPA and an auxiliary member of American Legion Post #262, Biglerville. Polly was also a past board member of HGAC, a member of LCAC and an honorary member of Upper Adams Jaycees.

Surviving, in addition to Polly's husband, are a son, John A. Adamik of Aspers; a daughter, Theresa A. Adamik of Aspers; a granddaughter, Ashley L. Adamik; brother Rossville Topper, Jr. of New Oxford; two sisters, Ann Hamilton of Baltimore; Dorothy Barber of Aspers; and 22 nieces and nephews.

Polly was predeceased by a sister, Doris and three brothers, infant twin Paul, Frank and Gerald "Pat" Topper.

A Memorial Mass will be, November 23, 2011, at 11 a.m. at her church with The Rev. Bernardo Pistone, Celebrant. Inurnment will be in the Parish cemetery.
