Earl Asa Anderson was the son of Asa and Mary Elizabeth Willey Anderson. He married June Geneva Mathews, daughter of Perlee and Anna Belle Ramsey Mathews on November 1, 1919 in New London, Henry County, Iowa. They were the parents of five children; Aileen Ethelyn, Dale Eugene, Mazie Mae, Goldie Belle and Wanda Erlene.
