Kathryn's full name is Charlotte Kathryn Bynum. I was afraid if I put her birth name, no one would find her memorial. I think about her often and wish I had had the opportunity to say goodbye. I have so many wonderful memories.

Obituary - Dallas Morning News

Kathryn Bynum O'Hare was born October 13, 1936, our beloved Mother went home to be with the Lord on November 16, 2011. She was spunky, full of zest and a true original. Everyone that knew her loved her and she never met a stranger. She is survived by her son, Mike Lenamond & wife Sharon; son, Tim O'Hare & wife Christen; grandson, James Lenamond; granddaughter, Katherine O'Hare (who is named after her Granny), and one grandchild on the way; brother, Nyles Bynum & wife Jan and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Kathryn is preceded in death by her father, Harry Tracy Bynum, Jr.; mother, Ola Mae Bynum; husband, Nick Iocco; sister, Willeen Smith and brother, Stuart Bynum. She was a fighter, resilient, never complained about her hardships, quick with a smile, always happy and an extremely generous woman. Kathryn loved her country, Elvis and her family most of all. We know that she has a new body and is smiling down on us from heaven. We will miss her until the day we see her again. Visitation will be Friday, November 18, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Brooks Family Chapel of the North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at the First Baptist Church of Carrollton, 2400 North Josey Lane, Carrollton, Texas 75006. Dr. Brent Taylor will be officiating.
