"Mrs. Ira J. Parker died at her home southeast of Fellsburg, Friday, March 1, of peritonitis, aged 17 years, 4 months and 25 days. Funeral services were held at the house on Saturday at 10 o'clock, conducted by Rev. G. M. Beltz of the Fellsburg United Brethren church, and were largely attended by relatives and friends. Interment was in the Haviland cemetery.

"Stella Bell Burtsfield was born in Harrison county, Missouri, October 4, 1889. In 1903 she moved with her parents to Kiowa county, Kansas. She was united in
marriage to Ira J Parker December 31, 1905, and to that union one son was born. She was truly converted and prepared to meet her Lord with joy and peace. She
leaves to mourn her loss besides her husband and infant son (Cloid W. Parker), a father, mother, five sisters and one brother."
