DEATH OF MRS. MARY RANKINS
Well Known Madisonian Died Tuesday night in Salt Lake City After Long Illness
Word was received here yesterday of the death in Salt Lake City of Mrs. Mary Rankin, widow of Robert Rankin, after a long illness. Mrs. Rankin's death occurred at the home of her son, John Rankin. Funeral arrangements are not known but it is understood the body will be brought here later for burial.
Mrs. Rankin was one of Madison's best known residents and had resided here most of her life. For sometime she had been with her sons, Messrs. John and Will Rankin in Salt Lake City. Besides the sons, a sister, Mrs. John C. Roberts of Pittsburgh, survives.

RANKIN, MRS. MARY DEWEY-- 75 years of age, died at the home of her son, John R. Rankin, 1434 Harrison avenue, yesterday. She was born in Madison, Ind., and lived in Salt Lake and Boise, Idaho for the last eight years. Surviving her are two sons, John R. and William Rankin, both of Salt Lake.
