Mom was born in Texas, and was also called "Laura." She married Dad, (Peter M. Garcia) and had seven children. Her four daughters and three sons are Guadalupe Ponce, Victor Garcia, Jenny Krantz, Rosemarie Serna, Elizabeth Muñoz, Xavier Garcia, and Peter M. Garcia Jr. She lived in Indiana most of her life and spent the last 22 years in Texas, where she always called home. She loved to crochet and cook, and loved all her many children, grandchildren, and great- grandchildren. She will be greatly missed especially around Christmas when she would make a years supply of tamales. We love and miss you Mom. Rest in peace sweet lady.
