Mrs. Eugenia Grace Head Popham, age 82 of North Highland, California passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2010 in Carmichael, California.

Mrs. Popham was a native of Polk County, daughter of the late James P. Head and the late Mrs. Mae Sanford Head. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Russell Popham; three sisters, Mrs. Agnes Causey of Rockmart, Mrs. Dorothy Mershon of Dalton and Mrs. Sonia Hillstrom of Phoenix, Arizona; and three brothers, Mr. Edwin Head, Mr. Frank Head and Mr. Thomas Head all of Rockmart.

Survivors include a son, James R. Popham of San Diego, California; and two sisters, Mrs. Billie Cummings and Mrs. Bonnie Cason both of Rockmart. Two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive.

Memorial graveside services for Mrs. Popham will be held on Saturday morning, August 21, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. in the family lot of the New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Cason officiating.
