Sandra Jean "Sandi" Schwenke nee Hixson......
Daughter of Robert Eugene Hixson and Virginia Fay Hixson nee Bean.
Sandi was a high school teacher and from all indications an excellent teacher.
Sandi was married 5 Aug 78 and divorced 21 May 1993...From this union were three sons..and which she mentioned often!
Sandi loved genealogy and through this she discoverd my connection to the DeFee Surname...She had tons of questions about the Defee's...Emailing and calling me via phone.
She was excited about all this info...Turned out my Great Grandfather was her Great Great Grandfather!..I gave her beaucoup info and she in turn gave me some info which helped me find another kin on her side.
The parent's of Virginia(Mother of Sandi) were Bennett C. Bean and Miriam Bean nee DeFee.
Miriam's parents were John Carr DeFee and Bernice DeFee nee McGarity.
John Carr DeFee's parents were Green Pinkham DeFee and Margaret Anna DeFee nee Carr. Green and Margaret were my Great Grand parents so therefore they were Sandi's Great Great Grandparents.
Sadly Sandi had cancer and died from cancer and open heart surgery!...I will miss her emails and phone calls on genealogy...Seemed like such a nice lady and wish I could have met her in person.
Know she is missed greatly by her friends and family!
