Last Services Planned for W.G. Allen--Funeral services for William G. Allen, pioneer of the canning and packing industry in the Pacific Northwest, will be held at 3:30 p.m. Monday in the Virgil T. Golden Chapel. He died Friday in a Salem hospital at the age of 77 years.

Honorary pallbearers, leaders in the food processing industry throughout the Northwest, will include E.I. Pitkin of the Eugene Fruit Growers Association, Eugene; George M. Martin, Utal Canning Co., Milton-Freewater; T.E. McCaffray, National Fruit Canning Co, Seattle; F.M. Moss, Idaho Canning Co., Fayette, Idaho; O.E. Snider, Blue Lake Packers, Salem; Ivan H. Moorhouse, Olympia Canning Co., Olympia; and Arthur Reiling, General Foods Corp., Hillsboro.

Others are A.D. Radebaugh, Green Giant Co., Dayton, Wash.; E.A. McCornack, Eugene Fruit Growers Association; L.M. Jones, Washington Canners, Vancouver, Wash.; F.L. Jones, Walla Walla Canning Co.; and George Paulus, Paulus Brothers Co., Salem.

Active pallbearers, all business associates of Allen, will be Hugh G. Kelly, Otto Gronke, Fred Melhase, Gail Nugent, Chester harper and Fove Harper.
