Stanley F. Anderson, 80 of Elyria, died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2005, at Community Health Partners in Lorain following a long illness.
Born in Grafton, he had lived in the Cleveland area for most of his life. Mr. Anderson was a veteran of the Army during World War II. He was employed as a chemist at Harshaw Chemical Co. in Cleveland, retiring in 1980 after 45 years of service.
Survivors include his cousin and caretaker, Delea Knapp of Elyria and many other cousins. There will be no visitation.
Private graveside services will be today at St. Mary Cemetery in Grafton. The Rev. James D. Schorr, pastor of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Elyria, will officiate.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bauer-Laubenthal Funeral Home, 38475 Chestnut Ridge Road, Elyria.
