DAVID ALLAN GAY, 41, passed away May 30, 1983 in Bakersfield, California.
David was born on Feb. 6, 1942 To King Henry Gay and Boyd Esther Stout Gay at the family home in Corcoran, California. He was the only one of 10 children that was born at home.
David attended schools at Corcoran, Greeley district of Bakersfield CA., Waurika Ok, Bakersfield and Corcoran.
On Aug. 5 1967 he married Wanda Bradshaw and welcomed her 4 children , Debbie, Darrell, Danny, and Shauna into his life.
In the last years of his life David loved to hang out with a group of bikers in Bakersfield. They all owned Harley Davidson Cycles and David was the only one in the group without one.
David died at a young age as the result of an accident.
Funeral Services were held at the Evergreen Lawn area of Greenlawn Memorial Park on June 3, 1983.
Preceding him in death were his wife Wanda Gay, his father Henry Gay.
Surviving him were his daughter Sandra Gay, son James Gay, stepchildren Danny, Darrell, Shauna and Debra Bradshaw. Mother Boyd Gay. Brothers Elmer, J W, Leslie, Bruce and Vernon Gay. Sisters Janet Dresser, Joyce Lombardi, Mary Eversole, and Wanda Sheppard.
