Husband of Georgia May (Bertram) York, father of Peggy and Judy. Luther was a newspaper man - editor, publisher and journalist. Luther was a Private First Class in the U.S. Army during World War II. He co-authored the Bertram Book with Myrtle Tennessee Dalton, his sister-in-law. (The Bertram Book was a collection of annotated pictures of Bertram residents of Wayne Co., Kentucky and their descendants; it was published about 1958 and re-released in 2010 by the/Wayne Co., Kentucky History Museum.) Luther had a keen interest in the preservation of history and genealogy.
