TAHLEQUAH — Jimmy O'Dell, a former Tahlequah resident, died Monday, Nov. 21, in Coweta. He was 52 years of age.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, Nov. 25, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Fort Gibson City Cemetery, under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
Jimmy O'Dell was born on Oct. 23, 1959, in Tahlequah the son of Jim and Joyce (Willyard) O'Dell.
He attended school in Tahlequah. Jimmy was a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan.
Survivors include his parents, Jim and Joyce O'Dell, of Belen, N.M.; brother, Justin O'Dell and wife Christy of Wagoner; sister, Jessica O'Dell of Tahlequah; niece, Ashley Wyatt and husband Craig of Wagoner; nephew, Joshua O'Dell and wife Jamie of Broken Arrow; a great–niece, great– nephew and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his grandparents, James Howard and Lois Lorene (Wilson) Willyard and John Algernon and Cora Ethel (Luna) O'Dell; sister, Monica Leigh O'Dell; and brother, Joseph Anthony O'Dell.
