HOBBS, New Mexico-- Lila Dale Tucker, 87, of Hobbs, New Mexico, died October 25, 1997, at Hobbs Health Care Center.
She was born in Drew County, Arkansas, on August 13, 1910, a daughter of the late Erastus Peacock and Minnie May Shultz Peacock.
She was a homemaker and a member of Castle Avenue Baptist Church at Hobbs.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vance Tucker.
Survivors include three sons, Roy Tucker of Valla, Texas, and T.J. Tucker and James Tucker, both of Houston; a daughter, Jean Naugher of Hobbs; 15 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled for 3 p.m. Wednesday at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home of Monticello, Arkansas, with the Rev. Jake Lindsey officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Tabor Cemetery in Drew County.
