Son of Sir John de Beaumont and Eleanor of Lancaster. Grandson of Sir Henry de Beaumont and Alice Comyn, Henry of Lancaster and Maud Chawiorth. He was born in Brabant while his mother attended Queen Philippe and naturalized an an Act of Parliament in 1351.
First husband of Maragret de Vere, daughter of John de Vere, 7th Earl of Oxford and Maud de Badlesmere. They were married before 15 Feb 1363, the date of their indult, and had four sons and possibly one daughter; Sir John, Henry, Richard and Thomas, maybe Eleanor.
Sir Henry died in 1369 and was buried at Sempringham Priory. Margaret would marry twice again and be buried next to him. Other sources, according to other volunteers, have her buried elsewhere.
