Peter M. Hauch, 79, of Rt. 1, Newton, died Saturday afternoon at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Christiansen Funeral Home, St. Nazianz, and 10 a.m. at St. Isidore Catholic Church, Osman. The Rev. Donald Schneider will officiate and burial will be in St. Fidelius (sic) Cemetery, Spring Valley.
Mr. Hauch was born Aug. 18, 1885, in the Town of Meeme, son of the late Michael and Anna Stein Hauch. He married Anna Ramminger June 2, 1912, at St. Wendel Catholic Church, Cleveland. She died Aug. 25, 1927. Mr. Hauch was a member of St. Isidore Holy Name Society and the Catholic Knights.
He is survived by his son, Alfred, of Rt. 1, Newton; two daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Marie) Gerhardt, of St. Nazianz and Miss Kathleen Hauch, of Sheboygan; three brothers, Michael of Cleveland and Joseph and William, of Kiel and five grand-children. Two brothers preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home where the Rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock this Monday evening by the Holy Name Society.
