MRS. J. T. WHITE
Mrs. Joseph T. White, a well known and universally liked resident of the Lowman Chapel vicinity, died at the Furnish Hospital here Thursday morning, following an operation for acute appendicitis, followed by a parinitis condition. She was 64 years old.
Miss Harriet Donely was born in Hannibal, Mo., December 8, 1856, and was united in marriage to Joseph T. White, December 22, 1880. To this union five children, four boys and one girl, were born, three of whom, with the husband, survive. They are A. J. of Car-rollton, Mo.; Clarence L. of the Lowman Chapel vicinity and Miss Edith B., at home. Two sons Bates and Howell, preceded her in death. In addition to the above children, one sister, Miss Lena Donely, and one brother, both of Monroe City, survive.
Funeral services were held at Lowman Chapel, of which church Mrs. White was a member, Friday afternoon at 2:30, conducted by the pastor, Rev. A. W. Darter.
Burial was in the Shelbina cemetery.
