Antwerp, Aug. 24 – Mrs. Harriet Day, one of Antwerp's well known residents, who had been living with her son, Fred Day in Hoyt avenue, died Saturday at 4:45 p.m., aged 76 years.
Mrs. Day fell about two weeks ago, fracturing her hip and it is thought that the shock and old age was the cause of her death.
She is survived by one sister, in Lansing, Mich., and one son, Fred Day of Antwerp, with whom she had made her home. There also survives some relatives in Rochester.
The funeral will be held at the house Tuesday morning at 11, and it is expected that the body will be taken to Adams for burial.

Adams, Aug. 26 – The body of Mrs. Harriet Day was brought from Antwerp yesterday and burial was made in Elmwood cemetery. Rev. Frank Hollinshead of the Baptist church conducting the services. She formerly lived in Adams.
