"She made me the most God-blessed man in the world."

Barbara Mae Chambers went to be with The Lord Jesus Christ on Feb. 9, 2007. She was born Aug. 3, 1933 in Attleboro, Mass., to Fredrick Douglas Carlon and Ruth Kiff Carlon.

She was a homemaker, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Rev. Bruce Chambers of Chino Valley; two children, Bruce Chambers II of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Kathleen and husband of Prescott Valley; 11 grandchildren, one sister, Janice Adams; and one brother, Merle Carlon

She was preceded in death by her loving son, Manton Ward Chambers.

Services will take place at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14, at the Grace Baptist Church in Chino Valley.

Interment will be at the Heritage Memorial Park Cemetery in Dewey.

The family suggests memorials be made to the Liberty Baptist Church in her memory.

Hampton Funeral Home assisted with the arrangements.
