She was a marvelous cook and avid gardener. She loved making old family recipes from the Cajun Country of her upbringing - Cantaloupe Cobbler, Oyster Dressing, and Seafood Gumbo.

She always hated the spelling of her last name as changed by her father when he got married (Prejean to Pregeant), so I'm using the spelling she preferred here.

She was also an accomplished artist and many family members have cherished paintings beautifully created by her.

She was one of the sweetest, most loving people I have ever known.
