Graveside service will be held at Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Park, 2739 Panama Lane, at Freeway 99 on Mon, 16 Jan at 1 pm for Louis Wesly Baggs, 81, who passed away 11 Jan 1989 in Bakersfield. Rev. Leon Frost will officiate. Mr. Baggs was a native of Mena, AR and had resided in Kern Co since 1940. For 55 yrs he worked in the oil industry and was last employed at the Kellogg Oil Co. as a driller. Survivors include his wife Mary Dee; 7 sons, 9 step-children, 2 brothers & 2 sisters. Visitation will be on Sun from 9 am to 9 pm at Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Chapel. Greenlawn Southwest Mortuary, Funeral Directors. A Golden Rule Funeral Home.
