Rena Belle Northrop was the daughter of Theodore Northrop and Josephine Lumsden. Her first marriage was to Charles Dee Hathaway on 15 Sep 1903 in Dickey County, North Dakota. They had a daughter, Frances Pearl Hathaway, in 1904 while living in North Dakota. Charles died in 1928 in Mission Hill, Yankton, South Dakota. Rena and Frances moved to Minnesota, then North Dakota, and finally to South Dakota. Rena married widower Irvin Lansing Streeter on 25 Dec 1936 in Aberdeen, Brown, South Dakota. Subsequently, Rena, Irvin, and Frances relocated to San Antonio, Bexar, Texas. Rena died from heart failure in 1942. Frances remained living with her stepfather, Irvin. After he remarried, Frances lived with Irvin and her stepmother. Frances never married and worked as a Clerk for Civil Service. Frances, Rena, and Irwin are buried in San Antonio.
