Adelina and Johnny were active founding members of St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church. She was a devoted mother and homemaker who loved to cook, sew and do crafts. She was known to her close friends as "The Turtle Lady" for she raised many turtles in her backyard and knew each one by name.
Adelina is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Joseph Thirolf, grandchildren, Lauren and Kenneth Thirolf and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their thanks and gratitude to the staff of Regent Care Center of Kingwood and Odyssey Hospice for the compassionate care administered to Adelina during her stay.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 27th from 5:00-7:00pm at Niday Funeral Home on Beamer, with a vigil service beginning at 6:00pm. A Mass celebrating Adelina's life will be held on Monday, November 28th, 10:00am at St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
