Mrs. Edwards Dies Here At Age Of 33

Mrs. Nola M. Edwards, 33, of 2904 N. Golf Dr.,wife of Robert
J. Edwards, died at 7:20 p.m. Thursday at 1801 N. Machin St., the home of her father and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert S. Edwards, who had been taking care of her. She had been ill for some time.

A lifelong Peorian, she was born here Aug. 27, 1928 , a daughter of William H. and Bernice Hayslip Pease, and was married to Mr. Edwards in Peoria Sept. 12, 1948.

An active member of the Free Methodist Church, she was a soloist and pianist there and also served as superintendant of the junior department of the Sunday School.

Surviving are her husband; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William H.Pease of Peoria; two sons, Gerald R. Edwards and John C. Edwards, both at home, and one sister, Mrs. Zelma Tucker of Pekin.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Free Methodist Church. Thc Rev. Harold Wolcott will offiate. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Wilton Mortuary and at the church a half hour before services Monday.
